The School of Peace Theology was created to give access to anyone seeking to further their understanding of peace, regardless of current academic status.

What is The School of Peace Theology?

The School of Peace Theology was developed to help people understand and cultivate a holistic theology of peace, where some of the finest minds today have come together to bring their unique perspective to the table.

Think of the school as a gathering of scholars (like an ancient forum, an agora) previously inaccessible to the public in one place, for the purpose of educating those unable to pursue formal education, or simply desiring to further their understanding of peace.

What are the costs of the school?

Each course costs $199. There are no monthly fees, no membership fees, and no application or graduation fees.

What are the technology requirements?

The School of Peace Theology was built to accommodate any mobile device, tablet, or computer (PC or Mac). Any device built after 2005 that has kept up with updates should suffice. If you can watch youtube videos, you will be able to watch the classes.

Internet bandwidth is recommended to be above 10mbs, which is usual for any modern high speed connection. The live stream will auto adjust based on bandwidth to an extent before switching to audio only. If you have concerns about your speed, run a speed test here to verify you are near the 10mbs speed recommendation. As with the computer recommendation, if you can watch videos on youtube, you will be able to watch the course videos.

please note that these are only recommendations, and due to the nature of personal system configurations and internet service provider data loads, we cannot account for any and all technical issues. If you find you still need help, please contact our technical support.

Do I have to be able to attend live?

While one of the primary purposes of the school is to give students interaction with professors they would otherwise be unable, the courses are available from the start date until 60 days after the course ends (typically 6-8 weeks).During that time, you are able to watch your sessions at your convenience.

*Note that watching on-demand means the live chat portion of the class will be unavailable.

Is The School of Peace Theology Accredited?

We are not accredited through any national organization (nor are we seeking accreditation), and do not offer degrees. We simply and conveniently offer great courses from some of the finest scholars in the world at extremely affordable prices so that you get the experience of learning “great stuff.”

Can I get a refund?

Due to the nature of delivering digital content via live stream, all sales are final. If  technical difficulties occur during a broadcast, the course will be rescheduled. If technical difficulties are experienced on the user end (i.e. your end), please contact your service provider or computer service provider. On the occasion that there are technical issues with the website itself, our server team will be made aware. As the individual lessons will also be archived for the duration of the course, any live content which is problematic will be backed up in the course for later viewing.
