Course Information

For many, Jesus is little more than the assurance of their eternal state and “God in disguise.” No thought is taken for the full humanity of Jesus, in every way, and the implications of Him as the Head of a new order of human beings. In both Christ’s ethics and in His manifestation of power, His immediate relevancy upon ourselves is often dismissed with: “Well, He was God, we’re not. He can’t be a model for the rest of us.” This attitude leaves the typical believer with little more than a wistful sentimentality of an obscure spirituality and a home in the sweet by and by.  In this course we will examine the implications of the full humanity upon His ethics and power, and what potential it represents for a truly “New Creation” on planet earth.

How Courses Work

All of our courses are offered via online live attendance (using free webinar software, for which we provide a link). Each course is six weeks long, meeting online once a week on the same day at the same time. The weekly sessions run 90 minutes: 45 minutes for presentation and 45 minutes for Q&R. A maximum of 15 students will be randomly selected to participate in the Q&R sessions (system-generated). If a student misses a course session, the talk/lecture will still be available online for 60 days, but the live chat room interaction will not be available.

Live Class Dates

The course begins March 19, 2017 and runs weekly at 7PM EST. The live class dates are as follows:
  • Mar 19 – Session 1
  • Mar 26 – Session 2
  • Apr 2 – Session 3
  • Apr 9 – Session 4
  • Apr 23 – Session 5* (note dating due to the Easter/Pascha season)
